I was involved in a DV situatiin in my marriage, where I was the Victim; My spouse attacked me as he usually did and then called the police and stated I attacked him with a knife; He then changed his story and the prosecuting attorney provided me with a letter of the recanted statement which also states, I have no previous criminal record; yet I was forced to Plea Bargain to a lower charge of a Gross Misdemeanor for Malicious Mischeif, which I found out meant for an assault in the 3rd… [read post]
