Whatever happens on May 6th I fervently hope that we will see the back of knee-jerk legislation, especially that which is driven by pressure from David Cameron's new pals in News International, who sometimes seem less like a media group than a wannabe political party.It's going to be an interesting few weeks. Worryingly, David Cameron has snapped up Teach First as a panacea in his Big Society vision for secondary school education and though I, like the rest of the electorate, would love to trust the manifestos down to the last detail, I sincerely hope we don’t hear more of the expansion of the Teach First campaign after May 6th.
