According to reports, current Solicitor General Paul Clement will replace Alberto Gonzales as Acting Attorney General when Gonzales leaves his post on September 17; CNBC is also reporting here that he is a frontrunner to be nominated by President Bush as Gonzales's official replacement. [read post]
