So Kathy, Meg and Katie are investigating warm snow boots.We're not exactly sure why (we are not going to ask--this is, after all, a government operation), but the shelving for the library was contracted to not be installed until (hopefully) the middle of November and likely won't be finished until mid- to late December.The current plan is to close the library November 17 and open again just after the new year, 2009. And, for goodness sake, don't pass counterfeit bills to pay your motel bill while you're still there, at least if there's stuff in the motel room you'd like to hide.Because passing the counterfeit bills to pay for your room may eliminate your reasonable expectation of privacy and justifies a warrantless entry by the police.P.S. - Here, that principle doesn't apply, since unwittingly passing a counterfeit bill (which is all the evidence here allegedly showed)… [read post]

Some examples and expansion: Windows XP locks up entirely with some regularity so that my screen freezes and I have to hit the power button to re-boot Outlook 2003 crashes regularly on my current PC; Word crashed regularly on my prior PC Feature sets of the Office suite have barely improved in a decade I often have to wait for my PC to perform an action, for example, switching from Outlook to OneNote (I have 2 gig of RAM and am not anywhere near using all of it) No way would… [read post]
