However, this Hearing has highlighted key areas of concern relating to the experiences of survivors of domestic abuse in the family courts, The report makes some sensible recommendations, most of which I suspect family judges and practitioners would wholeheartedly endorse, even if they are mainly (for resource reasons outside their control) complete pie in the sky (better special measures, no cross examination of victim by perpetrator etc).
