Today's WSJ reports that American Airlines is spending huge bucks to upgrade the cabins of their workhorse Boeing 737s: At the company's giant Tulsa, Okla., maintenance base, where more than 20 jets undergo repair on a typical day, mechanics are transforming 76 planes so the original 737 fleet will match the 84 new orders.
