Not a computer crash and really not the end of the world, but Word for Mac seems to be a particularly unstable program (for me at least), often when I am working on long, involved documents for a day at a time without remembering to manually save - suddenly telling me that it has insufficient memory, wants me to close a window even though only one is open, and then refusing to save.
