Last week, approximately only 25 out of the 700 lawyers who practice in Lackawanna County Pennsylvania volunteered to come out and serve as jurors and judges for the local High School Mock Trial Competition.This meant that there was only a smattering of about 4 jurors in the large jury boxes in each of the 6 or so mock trials that took place.The students in this competition work hours on end to craft their case, prepare their witnesses, and attempt to prepare the best presentation… [read post]
