I thought it might be instructive to dust off a story I wrote for Wired in 2003 about a teen who has a felony charge on his record due to overzealous policing.Brian Robertson was arrested in April 2001 with a felony count of "planning to cause serious bodily harm or death" after a teacher at his Moore, Oklahoma, high school discovered a short story he'd written on a classroom computer.
