If one looks at some of the metrics and "'supermetrics" developed by groups like the California Leafy Green Marketing Board and private buyers, respectively, it looks to me like the very largest farms and superfarms have the best fit to the metrics and face the least economic damage from applying them.One of the metrics commonly used is to buffer production away from natural habitat.
