We call it a bond release hearing, because although the Mayor's father was charged with a non-bondable offense for pointing a gun at his daughter (yeah, we know, but remember, it's Broward) the State Attorneys office appeared in court the very next day to say 1) they don't ever stipulate to bonds; but...2) recommended a bond of 15-25 thousand on the non-bondable offense.
