  Notwithstanding how overworked the Court of Appeal is and how easy it is to just rely on deferential standards of review, it's great to see an appellate court so obviously understand that someone's life is at stake (i.e., here, 80 years in prison) and making sure that the evidence sufficiently supports the conviction.There's lots -- lots -- in here that I agree with.
