One thing we see over and over is clients who have "disputed" directly with the furnisher of the false information and they have not disputed with the credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, Trans Union, etc). [read post]

When a consumer disputes (click here to see a sample dispute letter) an item on their credit report with one of the big three credit reporting agencies, Trans Union, Experian and Equifax, the dispute is transmitted electronically to the creditor. [read post]
