Maybe Duke isn’t any worse than Cornell on these issues — but I’ve yet to hear the argument that Duke is somehow better or more racially progressive then northern schools.And I suspect that Duke is actually “worse” when it comes to racial issues than a school like Cornell. [read post]

Would the authors say that the Cal-Irvine faculty (impressive as it is) has a greater “scholarly impact” than the law faculties at Cornell, Duke, Michigan, Pennsylvania, UCLA, Virginia, Vanderbilt, Texas, Georgetown, Minnesota, Illinois, etc.? [read post]

He did his undergrad at Cornell, she did hers at the University of North Carolina. - She clerked for Judge Chester Straub (Second Circuit) and is set to be an assistant federal prosecutor for the Southern District of California. [read post]
