Stuart Phillip Miller, formerly with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated in La Jolla, California, was suspended from association with any FINRA member for one year and fined $10,000 in connection with the joint solicitation and handling of customer accounts with another individual - where Miller and the individual created a model fund portfolio to present to potential customers and misrepresenting that they managed the portfolio.
