Interestingly (in this Kat's view at least), if a court rejects a without notice application, the applicant can bring an appeal without even involving the respondent.It is worth adding that if an applicant seeks an interim injunction in respect of the respondent’s appearance at an imminent trade fair, it is generally much easier to obtain the injunction ex parte.
