In the early 1980s I had the awesome responsibility of hoisting and dumping huge garbage cans full of empty bottles and cans (etc) into the dumpsters in the alley out back, the same alley John Wilkes Booth ran down after shooting President Lincoln in the head in the adjacent Ford's Theatre.
