After Marshall's stint, the Justices now regularly live so long (or are appointed so young) that Senior Justices are not needed except in cases of recusal.* In real life Ronald Reagan got only three appointments, in 1981, 1986, and 1987 (O'Connor, Scalia, Kennedy) plus he elevated Rehnquist to the Chief Justiceship.
