NB: If the adjudicator agrees with the complainant it can direct the company to change its name by a specific deadline and if the name isn't changed by that deadline the adjudicator can choose a name for the company to change to. 2) The Secretary of State also now has the right to make a company change a newly registered name if it is either the same as  a name already on the register or in the process of being registered or if it is too like a name already on the register.
