So although there was some criticism of the Local Authority from the father, that criticism wasn’t made out (and on the basis of what we are told in the judgment it does appear as if the difficulty really was that the father simply didn’t have the sort of high level parenting skills that this little girl needed and wouldn’t be able to develop them quickly, rather than any failure on the part of the local authority – essentially the expert evidence… [read post]
