Having acquired it late last year after hearing them play other things at Carnegie Hall, this morning I finally got around to listening to the recording of Mahler's 5th Symphony by the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, playing under the direction of their young music director, Gustavo Dudamel.
