  The best that can be said for the book is that (1) it's not really all that different than all the other crappy vampire-slash-witch-slash-warewolf literature that's out there, and that (for some inexplicable reason) people tend to consume these days, and (2) yes, there are definitely "screw" scenes -- let's use the fancy term and call those components "erotica" -- but the literature part isn't merely "filler" purely intended to keep the work from being obscene.
