Earlier today the Queens County District Attorney's Office announced that 61 individuals and 2 corporations have been charged with engaging in a widespread, multimillion-dollar no-fault automobile insurance fraud scheme that sought to defraud insurance companies by intentionally staging accidents, submitting false medical and bodily injury claims and arranging for unneeded treatment and costly and unwarranted medical tests.
