Sheppard's appeal of the denial of his Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals found that the Administrative Law Judge reviewing Sheppard's previous appeal wrongly determined that Sheppard's part-time job at a community mental health center was substantial gainful activity (SGA) and therefore he was not eligible for benefits.
