Four major firms have announced layoffs already this month: Hogan Lovells – four tax associates in London Boies Schiller – three litigation associates in New York* DLA Piper – an unspecified number of staff around the US Howrey – 35 staff * As we noted when we first reported the Boies Schiller layoffs, we count this as a layoff because it was apparently collateral damage from an office closed following defections.
