A Maine nurse was recently indicted by a Rockingham County Grand Jury for felony abuse of an elder care facility patient and possession of a controlled substance after she allegedly failed to administer morphine to a patient in her care. 31-year-old Nina Perez of Berwick, Maine stands accused of keeping an unspecified quantity of morphine prescribed for a patient at the Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for her own consumption in May 2012.
