Its that double-edged sword that the more effective enforcement teams get at finding problem properties the more it drives up other problems as the perpetrators evade action, only to keep their heads down for a couple of months before re-letting, relying on the fact that the enforcement teams haven’t got the time or resources to keep re-visiting the same properties, although you make an extra effort if the landlord or agent is one of the ‘Usual suspects’.… [read post]
