I'm sure I should be sentenced to reeducation for even thinking such a thought, but something about the idea of let's tax the rich more makes me think of the female gatherers wanting to get the top male hunters to devote more of their catch to provisioning the rest of the band, rather than just lying about conspicuously enjoying their giant mastadon haunches which they got by being bigger and stronger than the rest.
