Since, unlike the purchase order defendant presented at Days Inn where the ostensible maker was the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, defendant, himself, albeit under a fictitious name, was the ostensible maker of the travelers' checks and the purchase agreement with the company is larceny, the latter were not forgeries.
