Therefore, the minimum length of a Chinese “姓名” takes 2 Chinese Characters: 1 character for the first name, and 1 character for the family name -- solely one character is simply too general to refer to anybody, nobody can claim the “姓名权” of Wang or Lee, etc., -- at least it has to be for 2 characters.
