More to the point of today’s blog entry, video of Acosta’s behavior during this week’s press conference was vital in countering White House press secretary Sarah Sanders’s mischaracterization that Acosta’s moving away the intern’s arm represented intolerable mistreatment of a woman rather than what we really see in the video, which is a reporter nonviolently not yielding over the microphone, regardless of the gender or race of the White House intern.
