To digress a bit, I remember being in South Korea during the Asian Crisis and reading in a Korean newspaper how food imports from the United States were down 40 percent (I think that’s the number), but the same story noted that Korean imports of US Apples had barely budged whereas its imports of a couple of fruits (I want to say kumquats and rasberries) had declined 100 percent.
