Unless McClellan had a massive change in thinking by the year 1887 (and Bell ought to provide a citation for that), one observes that Bell's use of the Miller text is misleading in mentioning ONE of McClellan's theories, but not the other.Bell stated: "By failing to acknowledge Miller's testimony, Carhart misses a persuasive ally.
