More recently, Pulaski County, Arkansas Circuit Judge Chris Piazza wrote in an opinion -- essentially invalidating the Arkansas Adoption and Foster Care Act of 2008 --that is it not in the state's interest, nor in the best interest of children, to exclude an entire group of people from becoming parents. The Chicago Tribune is reporting that a Chicago Police Officer on bike patrol was struck in a hit-and-run collision in the 7500 block of South Pulaski Road in the city's Ford City neighborhood.The woman, who was reportedly in a car full of kids, reportedly fled the scene of the collision and received a number of tickets including: going through a stop sign, conducting an improper turn, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license and striking a bicyclist.
