Ivan Kalymon, an 89-year-old man who had changed his name to John, served as an armed member of the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police (UAP) in the Nazi-occupied region of Lvov before he immigrated to the U.S. from Germany in 1949, and concealed his UAP service record when he applied for his immigrant visa, and later became a citizen of this country in 1955.
