   I can’t help but wonder, though, if Monsanto’s patent rights give it continuing control over the planting of future generations of seeds borne from its initial sale of Roundup Ready seeds, shouldn’t Monsanto also be responsible for the unintended consequences that stem from a self-replicating technology that cannot necessarily be controlled or limited?
