In June, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals held that prosecutors from one county (Brazos) had to coordinate proceedings with prosecutors from a second county (Travis) when the first county used an alleged theft offense committed in the second county to try to revoke the defendant's probation in the first county, while the second county meanwhile sought a conviction for the theft offense.
