Personally, I trust most USMJs more than appellate judges, particularly since most federal appellate judges in this country are Republican appointees with relatively predictable Fourth Amendment philosophies, as is the Supreme Court, where the exclusionary rule hangs by the predilection of just one seemingly erratic voting Justice: Anthony Kennedy.
