Sandoval, 200 F.3d 659, 660 (9th Cir. 2000), a warrantless search of an unoccupied tent located on the Bureau of Land Management property, near a marijuana crop was illegal and infringed upon a legitimate expectation of privacy.This was due to the locality of the tent in an area of dense vegetation, the fact that the agents could not see into the tent, and the fact that the defendant left prescription medicine within the tent.
