The guy wanted our law firm to  bring on local litigation counsel to sue the girlfriend, but we demurred because we did not think he should throw more good money after bad by pursuing a case where he would need to stand before of a Chinese judge and explain the deal by starting out saying he had put the condo in his girlfriend’s name so as to avoid Chinese law.
