What's going on in the opposition to the "no pro-Israel speakers" policy, I think, is the judgment that pro-Israel viewpoints are different from the other viewpoints I describe: They aren't as repugnant or extreme as Nazi or Communist viewpoints, and they would be chosen by groups whose ostensible purposes are quite far removed from the Israeli-Palestinian dispute.
