In a fascinating ruling, a five-judge panel of New York's Appellate Division decided that a former Kirkland & Ellis associate can keep his law license even though he was arrested for having sexually explicit online chats with a police officer posing as a 13-year-old girl--and eventually taking a train to Long Island to meet her.
