The recent DOL investigation reportedly found that six Mexican El Mariachi restaurants, owned by Miguel Castro, were in violation of federal wage and hour laws by denying employees minimum wage and overtime pay, by failing to compensate tipped employees with a minimum hourly wage rate, as well as failing to pay overtime to employees who were on salary.
