  So the Board member would need to secure 200 votes in their favor from 100 ballots and as we all know, you cannot put more than 1 vote per candidate (which would otherwise be called cumulative voting, which is prohibited) so the best any candidate could achieve in this example is 100 votes in their favor, making it impossible for the term limited Board member to possibly achieve 2/3 of all “votes” cast in the election.
