Despite an hours-long parade of people who urged city commissioners not to ban homeless feeding programs from two downtown parks, West Palm Beach did it anyway.Commissioners voted 3-2 in favor of an ordinance that barring programs to feed the homeless at the two parks.Some of those of spoke against the ordinance argued that a new law was not needed to prevent criminal activity.
