BDV president Jens Michow was in the audience and explained these rebates as way of regarding the promoters for probiding accurate set lists - although as Paul Crockford remarked from the stage - it was an expensive service and he couldn't understand why BDV member's rebates didn't come from the GEMA deduction - which of course was meant to cover the costs of adminsitration of collection.
