Researchers concluded that a properly-administered HGN test would correctly identify a suspect as having a BAC at or above 0.10 percent seventy-seven percent of the time, and that when the HGN and walk-and-turn results were combined using a decision matrix, the two tests would correctly identify a suspect as having a BAC at or greater than 0.10 percent eighty percent of the time.
