Researchers at Mississippi State University State Chemical Lab have developed new method for testing Gulf of Mexico seafood for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, the main oil contaminants that affect seafood.The lab is working on a package to send to the Food and Drug Administration for approval of the new test, and expects to have it ready by the end of July.
