The contempt hearing for Mike ("nothing happened") Nifong has been set for August 30; I will be in Durham to live-blog the proceedings.With the man whose version of events they unqualifiedly accepted last spring having at last conceded that nothing untoward occurred at the party, the Group of 88 (minus Arlie Petters and a few other members, such as Lee Baker, who have issued conciliatory statements) would seem to be out on a limb.
