October 11, 2007.Here is a link to the decision.This case was originally summarized by Sarah Swan and originally edited by David Pilley.The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia appealed a Provincial Court decision in which the judge held that because the insured's truck was stationary when it was damaged by another vehicle, the loss was not covered by collision protection and was instead covered by comprehensive protection.
